We are excited to announce that our laboratory relocations division has been rebranded as aport in order to cement our standing in the global marketplace.
We are specialists in turnkey laboratory relocations, all performed to GxP standards. aport will be the only integrated laboratory relocation firm capable of working on a global scale, ensuring standardised and compliant services are delivered throughout every country.
As well as our UK office, aport has an office in Kendall Square, Cambridge, MA, USA and in Singapore, via joint venture partners Asian Tigers.
Sales director John Best said the rebrand would allow an improved service for aport's international customers.
“Over our five years in laboratory relocations we have developed unique specialisms and techniques which no other company can match. This has not gone unnoticed and we have quickly built a strong reputation with some of the world’s leading names in pharma and life sciences,” he said.
“Many of our projects involve relocation of instrumentation, data, samples, hazardous good, cold chain materials or other specialist items to one or more different countries. It was a natural step for us to create a global brand which would better communicate our brand values and fulfil the needs and expectations of our customers all over the globe.”
aport is capable of handling laboratory relocations of any size and anywhere in the world. This could be the movement of a single piece of instrumentation within a premises, or the relocation of multiple departments to different countries. Full project management can be provided, as well as added value services such as third party laboratory audits and revalidation of assays. aport’s approach is to provide a fully integrated turnkey service, with all elements of the move being managed in-house.
Some of the firm’s diverse range of recent projects include a cleanroom relocation for the European Space Agency, a major relocation for an OEM in North America, a multi-departmental relocation of a large laboratory in Abu Dhabi, and several key projects for big pharma clients throughout the world.
