Customs clearance can sometimes be slow, especially if customs decide to inspect your shipment. This will usually not only result in delays, but also customs may charge you for services such as X-ray, cleaning, inspection, quarantine fees and more. These charges are unpredictable and cannot be quoted for prior to arrival in your host country. The normal process is for these to be paid by you locally before customs will release your goods.
Any local customs or duty charges will be charged to your account for any goods that come under taxable guidelines. This changes from country to country and we can provide information on this at the time of quotation.
